We started the day well at Silverstone on the test day. Reasonable lap times were had but as the day went on Owner/driver Dean was having some good laps until the gasket went. Result water in the oil. It was decided by the team not to take part in the race the next day. What a disappointment for the whole team.

However Wil was asked to test another 240Z owned by Bruce Weir, a fellow competitor. Wil was able to achieve good times in the car. Wil was able to compare both Datsuns and came to the conclusion that ours was little better.
