Spa Francorchamp a circuit loved by all race drivers. The Datsun was looking lovely and we were looking forward to a weekend of great racing.

Wil qualified the car first in class and 4th overall out of 65  cars. Dean started the race with a great stint. Came in 14th overall and Wil took over. Going out at speed Wil encountered oil on the track and spun twice in succession. A back marker gave way , or so Wil thought, so Wil decided to overtake at which point the car came across and contact was made.

Wil carried on but the 2 spins meant that we lost the class win but still finished 2nd in class and 15th overall.

Race 2. Started 16th on the grid with Dean starting the race once more.

A great start saw Dean come round in 8th after lap 1. A safety car cut short Deans stint but a stellar drive was had. Wil took over  P2 in class and 23rd overall. Wil was determined to get the TR4 that was leading the class. Wil managed the drive well catching and passing the TR4 to get a win in class and 8th overall out of 65 cars.

1st and 2nd what a great achievement a successful weekend.
