MSV Trackday Trophy races are with 2 drivers. Wil was racing a Fiesta ST belonging to Ronan Quinn. Ronan is a young, very quick and talented driver that Wil has been coaching from a junior driver.

As a thank you Wil has been racing in the Fiesta on and off  subject to availability. They compete well together. As this meeting would be the last opportunity to race at Rockingham both Wil and Ronan decided to take part.

Having never raced at the circuit ( yes a little hard to believe) Wil was going in as the novice.

Qualifying saw them in pole for all but the last lap when they were pipped at the post by 100th of a sec.

The race was started by Ronan who did a great job of keeping 1st in class. Wil took over and the tyres were shot so he maintained a solid position until the last lap when he was overtaken by a fellow class competitor so finishing 2nd in class.
